Floral Shears
Wire Cutter
Craft glue
Glue gun & glue sticks
Yardstick

Instructions

  1. To make “handle”, fold under 1″ all along one long side of 2/3 yd. burlap garland and use glue gun to hold. Apply glue to bottom 4″ of dowel (leaving 3″ at top un-glued) and set cut end of garland into glue, with folded edge toward top. Tighly roll burlap around dowel, spot gluing at top, with every wrap around. Keep wrapping/gluing until you run out of burlap, or until the diameter of the roll is what you want to hold and trim, using Floral Shears. Fold under raw end and glue to back.
  2.  Wrap Diamond Wrap around handle, vertically centered on the handle, starting and ending at the back. Trim as needed and hot glue on back (only) so that it doesn’t slip up or down.
Insert 3″ exposed dowel into Foam Ball. Remove, hot glue and re-insert. Be sure that it’s going to be sturdy and let dry.
  3. Use Wire Cutter to trim stems to 1/2″ on each of eight large succulents. Evenly space them all around Foam Ball, (alternating light and dark green colors.) Push stems into foam and glue with craft glue, instead of glue gun, to allow for repositioning while arranging.
Use Wire Cutter to cut apart two-stemmed long green succulents, for a total of eight pieces. Sprouting outward, insert and use craft glue on long succulents, evenly spaced all around ball.
Fill in all Foam areas around succulents, with white Mini Cosmos. Then, randomly insert and use craft glue to attach twelve sage Hydrangea sprigs, evenly spaced among white flowers and succulents.
  4. Insert approx. 24 Babies Breath sprigs, evenly spaced throughout, letting them extend out beyond other flowers. Last, trim stems, insert and use tacky glue to attach six peacock feathers, considering how they should be placed.

 Tip:
Avoid bending peacock feathers. Consider arranging them on front and sides, but away from the back where they would be against the bride as she carried it, and later placed on the reception table, where they would be crushed.
